The Women of Rochester Dress will be on display at the Perkins Mansion on East Avenue in Rochester on July 23rd, 2017.  A  picnic event there is a celebration of the week long Votetilla event celebrating the 100th anniversary of women gaining the right to vote in the State of New York.

Started as a way to present Smart Textiles, this dress grew into a way to showcase the many contributions of remarkable women with connections to Rochester, NY.  The body of the dress incorporates the names of over 100 women including the creators.  The panels highlight a number of those women.  The names and panels represent women in a broad diversity of fields with national or international impact.
